The final day of The Tassie began with the semi-finals in the Craw’s Nest Tassie and Maulesbank Trophy as we got closer to finding out who this year’s winners will be.
It was a tightly-contested affair in the day’s opening all Carnoustie semi-final as the match went to the 21st hole before Scott Mann overcame Andy Fyfe. In the other Craw’s Nest Tassie semi-final, Steve Sansome beat Maurits Oosterhof 2&1 to book his place in the final.
There will certainly be some interest in the Maulesbank Trophy south of the border as Pat Smith from The Shire faces Steve Connors of Finchley GC after they beat Chris McCormack and Robbie Yule in their respective semi-finals.
