Carnoustie Golf Links Junior Academy and Carnoustie Ladies’ Golf Club member, Heather Strathdee, finished in a fantastic 19th place in the Girls aged 8 & under age group at the US Kids Golf European Championships at Longniddry Golf Club.
The 8-year-old was amongst a field full of young international stars of the future, with players from nations across the world including India, Canada, Kazakhstan and Singapore.
On a very tough 9-hole course the junior player carded rounds of 53, 48 and 53.
We’re sure this won’t be the last time we see Heather competing in a major event.
