Construction is due to begin in February 2017 with a completion date of December 2017.
Once complete the Golf Centre will be open daily to season ticket holders, visitors and the general public.
The ground floor will house the golf professional shop, 7 golf simulator bays, visitor locker rooms, caddie facilities and an office for local golf clubs. In addition, golf bag lockers and trolley storage facilities will also be created, these areas will be available for season ticket holders to rent.
The new upper floor will provide a bar and restaurant, heritage area, meeting rooms and office space for Carnoustie Golf Links administration staff. This level can be accessed via lift or stairs.
During construction there will be a temporary facility located beside the practice putting green.
This building will include:
- The Golf Professional Shop
- Check in facilities
- Golf Services
- Caddie Master
Locker facilities will be available in the Carnoustie Hotel during this period.
