CGLMC Ltd’s Community Benefits Committee has approved over £30,000 worth of grant applications received from no fewer than 15 local organisations. These groups received their cheques from CGLMC Chairman, Pat Sawers, at a presentation evening held at the Carnoustie Golf Hotel last night (Tuesday 13th June).
Pat said: “We at Carnoustie Golf Links are immensely proud to be able to support the local community through our Community Benefit Awards and we love being able to give back to the community. These are all such worthy causes and we hope that our donation will help them all.”
The total amount of £30,348 is being donated to the following groups:
- 1st Carnoustie Boys’ Brigade Company
- Carnoustie High School FP Rugby Football Club
- Carnoustie Choir
- Carnoustie High School Brass Band
- Carnoustie Claymores Swimming Club
- Carnoustie Panmure Football Club
- Royal British Legion Scotland
- East Haven Together
- Carnoustie Musical Society
- Carnoustie High School FP Mini/Midi Rugby Football
- Carnoustie Mercantile Golf Club
- Carnoustie Scout Group
- Kinloch Care Centre
- South Angus Parents of Adults with Learning Difficulties
- Arbroath Instrumental Brass Band
