With Christmas just around the corner, Carnoustie Golf Links are delighted that this year we can have an impact on the festivities in the local community by donating £2500 to the Carnoustie Christmas Lights fund, adding significantly to the amount already raised by the Community Council crowdfunding appeal.

Chairman, Pat Sawers commented: “The Links are always happy to contribute to Community projects.  The Christmas Lights are a fantastic festive feature in the town and we want to help retain them”.

“Carnoustie Golf Links, since becoming a Charitable Trust, has donated to many local organisations financially, but has also supports the community in many other ways, through the junior golf programme, our environmental work, and the donation of tee times to local fundraising activities.  We look forward to continuing our good work by disbursing more funds in November”.

Carnoustie Community Council chairman, Arliss Rhind, added: “We are absolutely delighted to receive the assistance from Carnoustie Golf Links and we would like to thank them for their continued support of the local community”.
