With just over a week to go until golfers and celebrities descend on Carnoustie (as well as St Andrews and Kingsbarns) for the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, preparations are well underway and the excitement is building.
Remember, all three days at Carnoustie are free for all to attend and over the years we have welcomed some of the greatest golfers and famous faces such as Fred Couples, Sir Nick Faldo, Padraig Harrington, Rory McIlroy, Colin Montgomerie and Tommy Fleetwood along with amateurs including Michael Douglas, Samuel L Jackson, Morgan Freeman and Jamie Dornan.
Why not come along and watch some of the world’s best golfers and do some celebrity spotting at the same time! This year, among the big names are Brooks Koepka, Luke Donald, Tony Finau and Ernie Els, as well as Hugh Grant, Piers Morgan, Huey Lewis and Ronan Keating.
Our Pro Shop will be open throughout the tournament, so please feel free to pop in at any time and have a browse.
Links House and the Atrium will be closed to the public up until 5.00pm from Monday 1st-Saturday 6th October whilst we host the players and their families. The Rookery is fully booked with private functions in the evenings, however, we do still have limited tables available on Friday 5th October if you would like to visit us for some delicious food and drink during the tournament!
Links House, The Rookery and The Pro Shop will be back to normal opening hours on Sunday 7th October when the tournament moves to St Andrews for the final day.
